On this guided tour, we take a closer look at the Etruscans and their fascinating history.
Through the Glyptotek’s collection of Etruscan tomb paintings, sculptures, and craftsmanship, we explore a culture that is often overlooked, where lavish banquets, boundless luxury, lightning omens, and an eternal afterlife were at the heart of society.
Please book the guided tour no later than 14 days in advance.
The guided tours last 45–60 minutes, and a maximum of 30 people can join each tour.Larger groups are kindly asked to book multiple tours.

Note: From January 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to book guided tours on Free Wednesday (the last Wednesday of each month). You are encouraged to book on other days, when there is more space and a calmer atmosphere for in-depth engagement.
This private tour costs 1.100 DKK.
You can choose to pay by EAN number or credit card. Payment is only processed after the tour has ended, but the payment method must be provided when booking.
The price does not include admission to the museum. Admission tickets can be purchased either on the website (by card) or at the museum using a card, cash, or voucher.
Once you have booked your guided tour, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your booking. We will follow up with a final confirmation once we have found a guide for your group. If no guides are available, the booking will be cancelled.
Cancellation of your visit can be made free of charge up to 7 days before the scheduled time. For cancellations later than this or in case of no-show, the full amount will be charged.
Cancellations can be made by phone through the booking office or by email at booking@glyptoteket.dk.
If the group arrives later than agreed, the museum reserves the right to maintain the originally scheduled end time, and we will do our best to complete the tour within the planned timeframe. In the event of a delay of more than 15 minutes without prior notice, the guided tour will be considered cancelled and the full fee will be charged.
In special circumstances, the museum may need to cancel a booked tour. Should this occur, we will of course contact you as soon as possible.
