Group Visit

Everything you need to know if you wish to visit the Glyptotek as a group

Experience the Glyptotek on Your Own

You are very welcome to visit the Glyptotek on your own in larger groups and explore the museum’s collections and exhibitions.

To ensure a good experience for all our guests, we would like to point out that the museum’s own guided tours and educational programs have priority at the artworks and in the exhibition halls.

Groups may consist of a maximum of 30 people while moving around the museum.

To avoid queues, you must book your arrival time. Your group will receive a 15-minute time slot during which you can enter.

If you are more than 30 people, you need to book multiple arrival time slots.

If no more arrival slots are available on your preferred date, unfortunately we do not have the capacity to accommodate your group, and we kindly ask you to plan your visit for another day.

Read about admission further down the page.

Book a Guided Tour for Groups

We offer private guided tours for groups lasting 45-60 minutes in one of the museum’s collections.

Admission

Schools, adult education centers (VUC), and daycare institutions have free admission.

Students from higher education institutions and others must pay admission upon arrival.

Please note that groups must arrive and pay together in order to be given group discount on admission.

Be aware that admission to the museum is free for everyone on the last Wednesday of each month, as well as on selected public holidays. These days often see a higher number of visitors.

We therefore encourage school classes and daycare groups to plan their visit on another day, if possible.

We also offer private guided tours for groups.
