Guided Tour. Gender and Sexuality in the ancient world
July 13 at 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm

On this tour, we take a contemporary look at a selection of the Glyptotek’s ancient sculptures and their stories.
Learn more about the role of ‘gender’ and ‘sexuality’ for both gods and mortals in antiquity, as we delve into the interesting – and often ambiguous – gender roles and sexual orientations that characterized many of antiquity’s mythological figures.
