Experience one of Denmark’s leading pianists, Tanja Zapolski, in a meditative musical performance in the Central Hall of the Glyptotek.
Enjoy an atmospheric programme of meditative classical piano music in the beautiful historic Grand Hall. The music unfolds as a journey through several eras, weaving together the clarity of the Baroque, the Romantic era, Impressionism and the poetic minimalism of the present.
The programme features nature-inspired works by composers including J. S. Bach, Grieg, Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen, Sibelius, Arvo Pärt and Ólafur Arnalds, woven into a musical flow where the many voices of nature unfold through birdsong, forest landscapes, the movement of water and musical reflections within the museum’s magnificent historic space.
The theme of the October 2026 Contemplation Concerts is Voices of Nature, inspired by the Glyptotek’s current exhibition Animals Take the Stage - Sculptures by Antoine-Louis Barye. Read more the exhibtion here
