Guided Tour. Auguste Rodin – Myths and Methods
August 3 at 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm

The Glyptotek houses a unique collection of sculptures created by the French artist Auguste Rodin (1840-1917).
The twisted bodies, unfinished, rough surfaces, and fragmented forms of the sculptures invite us into a universe full of interpretations and contrasts. On this tour, we delve into these ambiguous sculptures and Rodin’s special fascination with antiquity. We also shed light on how the artists working in Rodin’s studio were essential to his artistic practice.
