We explore the Glyptotek’s collections and hear gruesome and macabre tales from both modern art and ancient Egypt. Along the way, we encounter different ideas about death and the afterlife – including one of the world’s earliest ghost stories.
We also descend into the museum’s mummy cellar, where we take a closer look at the ancient Egyptians’ ideas about what awaits us on the other side.
A spooky tour exploring the many faces of death – and humanity’s enduring fascination with the unknown.
The ticket includes admission to the museum throughout the day, so take the opportunity to explore the collections. You can also enjoy a delicious meal or a drink in Picnic. Information about the menu and table reservation here.
